SANNE’s MD, Corporate & Private Client set to be a panellist at elite Private Client Forum Americas
Legal Week’s Private Client Forum Americas attracts the most senior and elite UHNW legal advisors to discuss the timeliest and concerning issues across the Americas, with an outlook on the rest of the world.
The conference will take place between 7 and 9 February 2018 at Banyan Tree Mayakoba, Playa del Carmen, Mexico. SANNE is once again a proud supporter of this important forum.
With an impressive line-up of speakers, the 2018 programme seeks to focus on the lifespan of the client, from “cradle to grave,” with each day of the conference uniquely honing in on the creation, preservation and transfer of wealth.
SANNE’s Corporate & Private Client Managing Director, Steve Sokić will participate alongside leading industry speakers from Mexico, the USA and Uruguay in the ‘Money for Nothing: The creation of wealth’ panel discussion.
Steve Sokić said, “Wealth advice and administration has evolved significantly over the past decade or so due to a number of global factors influencing purchasing patterns for legal advisory, but also for trustee & fiduciary services utilised in most wealth structures. My focus on the panel will be to provide an international trustee perspective to the discussion with a particular focus on the USA as a hybrid ‘mid-shore’ jurisdiction as both a gateway to new UHNW clients but also as an international wealth planning and administration hub.”
Conference keynotes including Katie Walsh (former Deputy Chief of Staff to President Trump), Daniel Katz (scientist, technologist and esteemed law professor) and the FBI also provide thought provoking deliveries on the future of the private client lawyer, amidst the current geopolitical climate.
