Fund administrators: A key link in the chain

Over the last 10 years there has been a gradual increase in reliance on fund administrators as a result of increased regulation, increased transparency requirements from investors and general increased reporting. An illustration of how the role of a fund administrator has become central to the work of GPs is the due diligence reviews and processes that LPs undertake.
