SANNE executive remuneration experts to contribute to prestigious DIFC event in Dubai
Two senior professionals from Sanne will contribute at a prestigious business breakfast for GCC remuneration and incentive plan professionals in Dubai later this month.
The Dubai International Finance Centre’s (DIFC) ‘Executive remuneration in the Asset Management industry: trends and challenges’ business breakfast takes place on Thursday 26th February and Sanne is one of the event’s co-sponsors. Executive remuneration professionals have been invited to attend, including lawyers, accountants, tax and investment managers.
Over two panel discussions, the event will address trends and market developments in relation to compensation structures in the asset management industry, focusing primarily on variable compensation issues. The evolution of corporate governance principles, current industry guidelines, global developments and suggested best practices will be discussed on a comparative basis, also with reference to practical examples from the hedge fund and private equity industries.
Valérie Mantot, head of MENA at Sanne and based in Dubai, will moderate a discussion on the latest developments and trends in the GCC executive remuneration industry and Jersey-based executive incentive director, Peter Mossop, is on the panel addressing ‘Best practise in 2015 and beyond’.
‘I am delighted to be representing Sanne at this prestigious event. I will be using my regional expertise in the Middle East and North Africa to guide this important discussion at a time when the executive remuneration industry is experiencing an exciting period of growth in the GCC and MENA region,’ commented Valérie Mantot, head of MENA at Sanne.
Colum Spillane, Director, Executive Incentives at Sanne said: ‘We are really excited to see this event happen as it will bring together leaders from the region to discuss the latest trends and challenges in remuneration and incentive plans. We are also very pleased to be co-sponsoring the event along with other well established professional services firms based in the region. We look forward to sharing our experiences with the delegates and gaining some insight ourselves from this highly collaborative event.’
