Sanne Advance - our refreshed Learning and Development offering - is one example of how the business is successfully continuing to build a professional services firm culture from within. Sanne is seen by many as one of the leading global firms who promote from within and provide trainees and graduates with a fast-tracked career progression.

Since 2004, Sanne in Jersey has seen more than 200 graduates and A-Level (or equivalent) students as well as those changing career path to study towards their ACCA, CGI (ICSA), and ICAEW qualifications. We also offer CIPD Certification for HR professionals, a PRINCE 2 Certification for staff with a project management role, as well as a number of internationally recognised qualifications for our Compliance, Risk and IT employees.

We are preparing the next generations of future leaders. Simply put, those that join Sanne as a trainee achieve excellent results in their studies. This is a result of our nurturing approach involving a combination of mentoring and technical support offered by the Professional Qualifications Faculty. Additionally, our students offer one another ongoing support as they progress through their studies. This collegiate approach sees top results from our people across the Channel Islands and UK. Following completion of the programme, Trainee’s progress to become either a Senior Administrator or Assistant Manager.”

Achieving balance between work and exam success. This is how we support our people:

Sanne established a Professional Qualifications Faculty made up of qualified Directors and Managers across the Jersey business. Our aim is to provide support and guidance to those studying towards a professional qualification in the following ways.

  • Hold regular 1:1 mentoring meetings to establish any support needs and discuss goals
  • Provide technical advice, training and support with studies and examinations
  • Help ensure work experience requirements of professional institutes are met and documented correctly
