Guernsey launch new fast track licensing regime for managers of overseas funds

On 12 June 2020, the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) announced the launch of a new fast track application regime for managers of Overseas Collective Investment Schemes (OCISs) looking to migrate to Guernsey due to its status as an internationally recognised and highly regarded fund industry.

This comes in addition to the previous fast track application regimes established for Private Investment Funds, Qualifying Investor Funds and Registered Funds, further increasing Guernsey’s desirability as a hub for fund managers.

Under this new regime, managers of OCISs seeking to either establish a new Guernsey entity or migrate to Guernsey will be subject to a 10-day review period from the GFSC. For further information, please click here.
