Phil is a Senior Director in the Private Client Division.

Phil has over 20 years’ experience in the offshore fiduciary industry, looking after a diverse portfolio of UHNW clients. He has experience of managing a variety of structures including private trust companies, reserved powers trusts and limited partnership structures and clients including entrepreneurs, wealthy families and senior executives in financial services . He has expertise in managing a wide range of asset classes including property, privately owned businesses and quoted investments.

Phil qualified as a chartered accountant with a big four accountancy firm in 1992, following which he spent 11 years with a leading privately owned Channel Islands fiduciary business where he was a director and shareholder. More recently he spent 10 years with a major bank owned trust company where he was responsible for leading a team of six directors and developing trust business with clients from Eastern Europe. He joined SANNE in 2015.

A foundation is run in accordance with its regulations, by a council as opposed to directors or trustees.

    We can administer day to day charitable or philanthropic activities, whether in dealing with unsolicited requests for support or with the governance of trusts or foundations. This is particularly useful for donors who, because of other commitments, find it hard to spare sufficient time on an ongoing basis.
