Phil Le Vesconte
Head of Private Client
Phil is a Director in and Head of the Private Client Division.
He has over 20 years’ experience in the offshore fiduciary industry, looking after a diverse portfolio of UHNW clients from around the world. He has experience of managing a variety of structures including private trust companies and reserved powers trusts and clients including entrepreneurs, wealthy families and alternative asset managers.
He has expertise in managing a variety of assets classes including real estate, privately owned businesses and quoted investments.
Previously Phil qualified as a chartered accountant with a big four accountancy firm, following which he spent 11 years with a leading privately owned Channel Islands fiduciary business. Prior to joining Sanne, Phil spent ten years with a major bank owned trust company where he was responsible for leading a team focusing on developing trust business with clients from Russia and CIS.

A foundation shares the characteristics of a trust, in that it does not have shareholders but instead has a founder and beneficiaries. It also has its own legal personality and the ability to enter into contracts in its own right. A foundation is run in accordance with its regulations, by a council as opposed to directors or trustees.
