SANNE authorised as a Fund Administrator by the Central Bank of Ireland
Sanne Group Administration Services (Ireland) Limited (SGASIL) (“SANNE”) has been authorised under Section 10 of the Investment Intermediaries Act to provide fund administration services in Ireland by the Central Bank of Ireland.
The authorisation enables SANNE to provide an enhanced suite of services to Irish authorised collective investment schemes and alternative investment managers, in addition to its existing offering as a trust and company service provider.
‘The granting of this licence to SANNE highlights our credentials as a trusted provider of administration services. It also demonstrates our commitment to Ireland and the country’s financial services sector,’ said Conor Blake, Ireland - Country Head.
Phil Godley, Global Senior Managing Director at SANNE said: ‘Our new Irish licence enables us to strengthen the services we provide to our range of clients from large asset managers, investment funds, corporate and financial institutions. As a business, the awarding of our licence further enhances our EU-based funds capability, and we are pleased to see a healthy pipeline of new business which includes some of our existing global clients. ’
The award of the licence comes less than a year after SANNE moved to new offices in 76 Lower Baggot Street in Dublin following a number of successful acquisitions. With plans for further expansion, the Ireland office currently employs more than 40 staff, and specialises in the delivery of administration services to Irish structured finance and investment vehicles and regulated funds as well as corporate governance support.
The news also comes as SANNE has continued to see strong demand for its outsourced alternative asset, corporate and fiduciary administration and reporting services across its global network of offices.
