SANNE associate director and accountant achieve highest marks in Jersey in professional qualifications

Two professionals from Sanne achieved the highest marks in Jersey in recent professional qualifications.

Associate director Rachael Smith achieved the highest average mark in the Institute of Chartered Secretaries Association’s (ICSA) Chartered Secretaries Qualifying Scheme’s final papers, whilst her colleague, accountant Collette Bratch, achieved the highest average mark in Jersey in her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.

Twenty nine year old Miss Bratch joined Sanne last year as part of the acquisition from State Street. ‘Studying for the ACCA qualification has allowed me to gain the knowledge and skills required to progress in my current role. I plan to continue building on my accounting experience and having a globally recognised professional qualification will provide a solid base for future opportunities,’ said Miss Bratch. 

Miss Smith, 29, who completed her Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales ACA qualification in 2008, has worked at Sanne for over two years. She added: ‘Being dual-qualified increases the depth of my knowledge in matters affecting my clients and gives me the technical ability to meet a range of client service needs.’
