Channel Islands experts to speak at industry seminar in London

30 September 2016

Experts from Jersey and Guernsey will share insights into trends around Middle Eastern and Russian private clients at an event in London organised by SANNE.

Featuring group partners from the award-winning offshore law firm Collas Crill, the technical breakfast event at the Law Society in London, on Wednesday 5th October, is part of a series of thought leaderships events being led by SANNE across Europe this autumn and winter.

Michael Morris, Angela Calnan and Nicolas Davies will be providing an insight into structuring trends for emerging markets’ clients in the Channel Islands following on from their recent work for Middle East and North African region and Russian clients.  They will also highlight interesting practice points for the audience to consider going forward during the technical breakfast seminar.

The event follows on from another technical insight seminar, also held at the Law Society in London, which considered the implications of the post-Brexit vote in the UK.

The event, held on 28th September, featured industry experts discussing the implications of raising and managing collective investment funds in Europe and third country jurisdictions, such as Guernsey and Jersey. It also looked at the implementation of the AIFMD EU directive.
